Aya Courouble

Aya started as a recreational gymnast in her village Heusden/Destelbergen at the age of three. At the age of 5, she entered the world of Rhythmic Gymnastics together with a basic training in ballet. In both worlds she gradually evolved into a real competitive rhythmic gymnast and a full-fledged ballet dancer. She won a Belgian title in every age category of rhythmic gymnastics and in the senior category even two consecutive titles (2018-2019), in 2022 she added a personal 7th national title for the group performance.

During her years of ballet training, she passed the various exams of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing to the degree of intermediate dancer in 2018.

In the period from 2018, Aya herself has been teaching ballet to rhythmic gymnasts to complete their training.
She was also a top-6 finalist and golden buzzer on the TV show: “Belgiums Got Talent” in 2018 to promote her sport.
